My fantastic school holidays!!!

 In the holidays mu cousins  came from wellington. When they first got to Christchurch they came to my grandmas farm and they have a massive back yard and we played hide and seek tag. 

Then we went to the zoo and we got feed the giraffes one of them came up to me and just took the branch straight out of my hand.

Then we went to the cafe and had some lunch my lunch was amazing it tasted so good then I got to go in the Lion cage

Canterbury's Swimming

                                         Canterbury's!

On Thursday  Rico Fong and Scarlett Hollis went to Canterbury's for swimming and we were very nervous.

We had to drive all the way to Rolleston . When we got there no teacher was allowed in. We had to wait for like an hour and a half. Eventually we

Rico in his heat got 5th and  Scarlett came 4th (in separate heats) . In the whole of Canterbury Rico is 19 best year 5 boys  at breaststroke. Scarlett is the 14 best year 5 girl in Canterbury at breaststroke.

Pretty good right?

Amazing Lions

We are learning about animals. Come and learn about the amazing lion. Did you now that lions are the only big cat that live in groups and they are really aggressive and cool and a the fantastic lions roar can travel up to 8 kilometres! and female lion do all the hunting and then the male lions snatch the food of the female. have you ever seen a lion before? 

Fantastic ball catcher

 We are learning to keep our eyes on the ball. Today me and my class did PE but this time some special people came they were they were part off the Canterbury cricket. They brought a ball with them and this bouncy castle thing, the people would through the ball and you would have to dive to caught the ball.
