WALT using te reo and NZ sign language.
I really enjoyed this activity because I got to learn something new and we got to watch a video.
Do you know how to speak te reo moari or sign language?
Kia ora, I am a student at New Brighton Catholic School, Welcome - Haere Mai. I am in Year 5 and my teacher is Mr Gray. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note my work may include spelling or other errors because some of it will be my first drafts. I would like to get your feedback - comments, thoughts, questions and ideas to help me Learn Create Share.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post
Kia ora Rico, good to hear you enjoyed the activity. I like your signing, it is interesting to see the signing. It might have been good to include what all the signs mean so you can teach others, (like me). I speak a little Måori but would love to be more fluent. Do you know anyone who can speak another language?
ReplyDeleteHi Rico
ReplyDeleteGreat signing of the numbers. I have learnt to sign my name, but I would really like to learn more sign language. Can you sign your name? Next time you could also video yourself counting in te reo Māori. You are doing some great work Rico, keep it up.
